Od kad znam za sebe pok. otac je pravio italijansku hranu, ono što danas zovu "pasta". Lazanje, kanelone, špagete bolonjeze, i "one bele špagete" tj. karbonara. Ja sam (u svoj svojoj 'dečjoj pameti') bio samo posmatrač većine toga pošto sam odbijao da jedem išta osim pomenutih špageta bolonjeze (zaboga - špagete su CRVENE, dakle bez gluposti i eksperimenata), tek kad sam dosta kasnije postao skro pa svesno biće (moguće čak iza punoletstva) sam pristao da probam 'te bele'.
