And when you do find it, it can be hard to know whether or not you should go there. We get that. But when we found this place, we had no choice but to try it out and then share our findings with all of you! Scroll down to find out what we think the Visit best Iranian restaurant in Dubai is!

An introduction to Persian cuisine
Persian cuisine is one of oldest cuisines around, dating back to 1000 BC. It’s characterized by a variety of herbs and spices as well as unique ingredients like rose water and barberries. Persian cooking techniques can range from boiling to roasting to grilling, with an emphasis on tenderizing meat through braising and marinating techniques. Its rich, comforting flavors make it one of our favorites!

What we ate at Persian Chef
The Kabab Koobideh was well-seasoned and full of flavor. It's a skewer of tender cubes of minced lamb seasoned with onions, fresh herbs, and special spices, then grilled to perfection. Served with a side of creamy hummus, thin French fries, rice and grilled tomatoes. The chelo kabab is an absolute must try!

Value for money
There are a huge number of restaurants in Dubai, but value for money is often at a premium. There are, however, some lovely places to eat around town, and given that you’re looking to try new cuisines and cuisine types, you should definitely give them a try. Here’s our pick of 5 great value-for-money Persian/Iranian restaurants in town. All are wonderful places to enjoy authentic Persian food (plus they won’t break your bank either!)

My Favourite Dish
Be aware that most traditional dishes are cooked with animal fats such as butter, which can dramatically affect your health. If you want to maintain a healthy heart and lose weight at the same time, it’s best to avoid red meat and opt for chicken or fish instead. A delicious Iranian dish that is perfect for vegetarians is Khoresh Bademjan , an eggplant stew made with caramelized onions, tomato paste, lemon juice and pomegranate syrup.

Would I Go Back?
Although I’m definitely not an expert on Middle Eastern cuisine, or any cuisine for that matter, I would most certainly go back to Iran O Grill because of how much I enjoyed my experience there. This would be a great place to bring friends and family for a special occasion, especially if you’re looking for somewhere new and exciting. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, allowing us to try almost anything we wanted on their menu.
